XtendM3 Activation

Customers

XtendM3 is currently under controlled availability. To activate XtendM3 for your tenant, contact your CSM.

Process

Create a new ServiceNow ticket under Sold Product: XtendM3 Review ONLY – do not use for P1, with the following information:

  1. What is the customer name and alias?
  2. What are the tenant URL(s)?
  3. What is the intended usage?
  4. Who will be developing XtendM3 extensions?
    Please provide us with the name(s) and email address(es) of the consultant(s) working with you.
    This point is important because all the projects that require XtendM3 activation, the consultant(s) designated to work on XtendM3 should have a specialized certification from Infor Campus trainings and should have attended targeted workshops.
  5. What is the timeline of moving/promoting extensions between different tenants? (e.g. from TST to TRN and then to PRD).
  6. Who will be responsible for setting up the Billing/Clarity for the solution review and sign-off performed by the XtendM3 Team? (Project Manager / Client Partner / Account Manager / Partner Account Manager)

XtendM3 Developer Trainings

Note that although customers are allowed access to the Infor Campus training materials, customers are not yet allowed to perform XtendM3 development themselves under controlled availability; therefore the recorded onboarding and workshops mentioned below will not yet be made available to them.

You will need to complete the following steps before you will be allowed to do XtendM3 development work for any project:

  • Go through all XtendM3 courses on Infor Campus
    • M3 CE: v2019.10 Introducing XtendM3
    • M3 CE: v2019.10 XtendM3 - Technical Configurations
    • M3: v2019.10 Using XtendM3 (Cloud Edition)
    • M3: v2019.10 Demonstrating XtendM3 (Cloud Edition)
    • M3: v2020.001 XtendM3 - Use Cases Walk-through
    • M3: v2020.12 XtendM3 Overview and Use Cases
  • Watch a recorded onboarding that you will get once you have completed the campus courses.
  • Participate actively in monthly workshops for which you will receive the invitations to after completion of courses.
